 5 |  Subject: Felt B12I just locked in to a Felt B12 with Dura Ace...2012 model before the new years inventory from my LBS--$2400. From my research, it seems like the going rate. I've had a Specialized Epic for 20 years, and wanted to get a tribike.
Is this a decent price, and what do you guys think of this model? Hopefully I got a decent deal for a decent bike. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks for your time and thoughts.

Extreme Veteran 607   Rochester, MN | Subject: RE: Felt B12 I had a 2008 B12 which was replaced with a 2010 B12 frame by Felt due to a seat post clamp issue. I liked both model years very much. I also appreciated the way Felt stood behind their product and replaced the whole frame for my problem. I'm still riding the 2010 B12 and don't foresee upgrading any time real soon. I don't remember exactly how much I paid, between 2500 and 3000. You'll love your Felt B12! |

I'm very happy with the purchase, I assume the b12 and 16 have the same frame and just differ on components. I think you got a great deal and will be very happy. |

Congrats on the new bike. I bought myself the same 2012 B12 for the same price. I got my LBS to throw in the fit and give me an Adamo saddle for half the cost. My husband and I have purchased several bikes with our LBS so they are willing to give us a few extras. When I brought it home, my husband said he was envious of my new ride which never happens as he is the gear junkie in our house. I hope you enjoy it! |

Pro 5361 | Subject: RE: Felt B12 Good price, but given that the frame is updated for 2013, they should be going out the door for a great price! I ride the same frame (in the B10 version) and it has a great feel and fit for me. Yeah- it's not as aero as the new 'superbikes', but there's something to be said for having an easily serviceable bike with a regular headset that I can take apart and put together myself. The stock wheels are actually pretty fast. not Zipp fast, but noticeably better than a box rim. they're quite heavy tho. I think about 2Kg for the set. Enjoy. it's a fine steed. |

Anything since 2009- right? So- this has long been corrected. |

Still I'm constantly seeing people selling new frames they got from felt off a warranty. They stand by their product and give you a good warranty if if you bought it from a licensed dealer and it wasn't an internet sale. |

I've replaced just about everything on it with the exception of the frame and some smaller components (brake leavers, shifters, etc..). The main reason I replaced the drive train was to add a quarq and there was some wear and tear after that many miles, but the frame has been rock solid. Knock on wood, I haven't had the seat post clamp issue that others have had. I also always use a torque wrench with doing anything on the bike to avoid over tightening it. I love the bike and will ride it for as long as I can. When it comes time to replace it, I will get another Felt. |

| 5 | Subject: RE: Felt B12 Many thanks for the replies. My LBS here in VB is Fat Frogs--they are super. If there's an issue, they'll stand behind it. They've serviced my Specialized for years, and have sold many bikes to my firends. I'm stoked!
