Track racing!

So we're have a great 4 days of track racing here over the holidays. Tyler Farrar will be racing in the Pro/Elite Men's category and madison events. He'll also be doing a special event racing a pursuit against our women's pursuit team who won a bronze medal at the London Olympics. Superior Glass 4 Day

I'm planning on being out of town on the last 2 days, the 29 & 30th heading to visit a friend in the Interior of BC to do some skiing and snowshoeing. I signed up for some C racing for the first two nights because I really like racing at the track, but since I'm not going to be around for the whole thing I didn't really want to race and train for it. I thought the first two nights would be fun. 

As it turns out one of the women who was racing the madison is sick and won't be able to make it. This left her partner in a bind. So now I am doing the first 2 nights of the pro/elite madison with the other partner and another woman (one of the Olympians) who can only make the last 2 nights is racing the last two nights with the partner. Gasp! I've got to make sure that I race hard so I don't put them in a deficit for the last 2 nights. Yikes. Now I've really gotta train between now and next Thursday with Christmas and track closures thrown in.
