Lake Sammamish Half Marathon : Official Thread (Page 3)

That's Lake Sammamish State Park, so expect to pay whatever the typical state park fee is ($10?) if you don't have a yearly pass.

I used to bandit-launch my boat down there ... not too bad if you get out of there quick, but for a half marathon duration you're likely to get ticketed if you don't buy a pass.

FYI 99% sold out, 15 spots remain as of this morning!

Still no decision on the food/drink after....I will guess we all want to return to Redmond, so let's go to Redmond's Bar and Grill.  http://redmondsgrill.com

Hope that's ok!  They have good food and drinks and plenty of room for as many people as choose to show up!

I'm running! I am picking up my packet morning of because I don't think I can make it to Bellevue Friday. I'm also going to be doing a little warm-up jog if anyone wants to join me. 

I've been really looking forward to Saturday.  The weather at this point looks pretty descent with some sun and little to no wind.

I'm hoping you speedier folks leave me some beer.  I'm super excited about my brother's first HM and have to stick around to cheer him in.  He's looking at about 2.5 hours.  I may have to have a beer or two with him and his buddies before heading to Redmond.  They are staying in Issaquah to party as they live near there.

What time do you think most will get back to Redmond?

I can't wait for Saturday.  Excited to finally meet some fellow BT'ers in person... you all will be my first.  

I will not be in a huge hurry... I should run this in about 1:35 or so.... (hopefully faster)... I will hang out a bit, scope out the finish line for single chicks, try to strike up a conversation and get some phone numbers, and then make my way to the bar.  Say Hi if you see me, I will do the same.. I will be wearing a "Speedy" shirt and my water bottle belt.  Hard to miss a 6'3 "speedy" wearing shades

OMG - I didn't know I was finally going to meet Lisa (wife of David)... one of these days I will finally do a run with you and possibly be able to meet in person.
