Subject: Anyone's 910xt stop autosyncing?

For the last 2 months, my 910xt has stopped autosyncing. I'm not sure how to get it to sync again - it seems to do it unexpectedly when I use the "Transfer All" option on the watch itself, but otherwise, the ANT stick keeps searching for devices even when the 910xt is on and right next to it the stick. 

 

Fortunately, the workouts accumulate and then download all at once when it does work. Not sure if it's a conflict with another program, since it used to work great.

 

Anyone else having this problem?

I have the same thing happen with my 310XT about three times a year.  Try reloading the ANT Agent, it usually works for me.

I've had problems that it stopped uploading to Garmin connect, well, sometimes it just doesn't upload or doesn't upload all new workouts. But they do get transfered to my computer, and I can then choose upload on the website to upload manually.

Garmin have been doing some tweaking recently, in particular I recall Garmin connect was down last week for maintenance.

I had this problem for a while and it stopped and now it has started again since the last firmware update.  I have to go into the Ant Agent and unpair the device and then pair it again for the data to upload to Garmin Connect. It has become a pain.  Hopefully the next firmware update will fix this issue.

Was having this issue with a clients' 910, and another's 310; not sure whats going on with Garmin!  But a master reset seemed to solve the issue on both watches. 

To perform the master reset:

  1. Power off Forerunner 910XT
  2. Press and hold Mode
  3. Power on device
  4. Release Mode when Do you really want to erase all user data? message appears
  5. Select Yes

X2  Mine did the same thing last week and I called tech support and they had me do a master reset.  Everything is working fine now.
