What did your workout include today? Mine was a 3+ mile run burning the calories that I took in yesterday. OK, maybe not all of them have been used yet

Ran 1.8 miles to the Y and then swam 2700 yards and then ran another 1.8 back home. It's still dark out to boot. Gonna hop on the trainer tonight I believe as well. Really ate way to much this last week so I need to start hitting it hard!

50 minute run on the dreadmill. It was raining and my gym (indoor track) is closed until Jan 3.

3400m of swimming in the outdoor pool in Oregon. Headed off in an hour to the tri club for 60-70 minutes of Jorge program torture. Tomorrow's my day off from training, unless I log shopping--annual post-holiday pilgrimage to Portland!

Kim--Nice OWS at Ala Moana Beach--you can go all the way from the peninsula (park) to the edge of the yacht harbor and back--maybe 2000m. Kid-friendly beach with playgrounds, plus an amazing food court right across the street in the shopping center. Killer runs around Diamond Head (start/finish at Kapiolani Park. right at the edge of Waikiki), Manoa Valley, Nuuanu Valley and, if you really like hills (or want a brutal bike ride), Tantalus. Bring a camera if you do the latter. Arrrrgh......I miss Hawaii!

I got in a run on the treadmill and a quick bike (on the trainer). It's dark by the time I get home from work, so working out indoors is as good as it gets for now.

a little late here but got in a good bike in the morn. about 1:20 including 6x6min muscle tension intervals at steady state power and low cadence. then got in a swim in the morn that included some 25 sprints and a few 400s with buoy and bands.

off season is the time to not only build a base, but to build some speed!
