For all you TrainerRoad fans out there (I'm one of them now) - which workout has beaten you, and is just calling out your name for revenge?

For me, it's Cathedral. It's beaten me twice now! Granted, I was recently recovering from a cold the 2 times I tried it, but I'm overdue for payback with a successful run at it!

The Hunted keeps kicking my butt, for some reason I always attempt it for my second workout of the day and I need to be fresh to have any hope of completing it.

Cathedral is the only one I've never finished. It was that last sweet spot interval that put the hurt in my legs and I had to call it quits with 20 minutes left

I think all of the Sufferfest video's come in at 0.90 IF or higher on TR. A very tough workout even on fresh legs. I have had to bail on HHNF more than once because my legs were too trashed from prior workouts.

Powell kicked my butt. I finished but it was a close call.

The only one I have bailed on is Hell Hath No Fury. That thing is brutal.

I've been too afraid to do it on 100% I always knock it down to 90% or so just so i can finish.

It's great that you want to push yourself, but be careful in thinking that doing it a little lower than what Trainerroad has set up is somehow *less*. You want to do what's appropriate for your plan. This is a threshold workout, so as long as what you do for the intervals is close enough to your threshold for that to be the focus, then you did ok with it. How high you go within this threshold range also depends on what else you're doing in the days before & after.

Antelope done me in. Mind you, it was Boxing Day, was nursing a hangover and had one mighty migraine that lasted for 4 days.

I have a pretty high FTP to begin with, so the rapid fire sprint sets hurt something bad. I did Junction the other day and the last sprint was vomitsville. It's incredibly hard for me to hold 150% FTP for 15 seconds with 15 seconds rest for 8 minutes at a pinch ...that is just HURT. I won't share what the TR numbers are because it's irrelevant- I know my actual power output is lower by about 20W, but TR is excellent because it IS relative and irrelevant.

Cathedral done this wknd! Huzzah! Thos 20 min x 2 steady states in the middle are tough both mentally and physically. The last interval isn't as bad since it's an overall lower steady state and you know you're on the home stretch. Makes for some nice TSS as well!
