Happy 2013,

I've been MIA for the past few years.

Since losing over 150lbs doing triathlon, I've put 6o back on and have become lazy again.  I'm done with all that.

IM Galveston 70.3 and IM Lake Tahoe on the Calendar.

Let's Get it!

Happy New Years and welcome back!

This year I have decided to stay to shorter distances with Big Cajun Oly being my longest for the year.  Will be the first time in several years I haven't done NOLA 70.3.  I am just not finding the time to train for longer distances and I am hoping I can improve my performance in Sprints by concentrating on short and fast.

Welcome back and good luck!

I too am sticking to the short distances.  Trying to fit in 4-6 Oly's this year (with maybe doing River Roux to cap things off).

Which Oly's are you going to do?  I just saw that Big Cajun is back in late Sept and I am assuming 5150 in May?  The only way I would do RR again (2013) would be either Aqua bike or relay.  Just won't have the time to train for it, otherwise I would love to do it again.

So far my calendar only has IM Lake Placid on it.  I will soon look at my schedule to plan the ususal local events, like most races at False River.
