Could be his "Barbara Walters moment" filled with tears and apologies to try to get back some favor with anyone he can. Lots of reports of him wanting to get reinstated to be able to pursue his career. I think he goes A-Rod on Katie Couric and admits everything.

I've wasted enough hours of my life watching and supporting Lance.  I'm done with him.

Inspires people?  To what?

He's responsible for what will be remembered as one of the most complex deceptions ever seen in sport.

I'm more inspired by the people who had the tenacity not to give up proving he was cheating.

Not me... It cost the taxpayers a crap-ton of money for their tenacity, which in the end got exactly what for us the taxpayers?

What is the purpose of the organization that investigated him. To enforce the rules? To investigate doping? What if he got away with it? What message does that send young athletes?

Comes clean - Yeah, that's definitely something he needs to do.

Starts racing - I think I would be good, in a publicty way, for him to start racing triathlon/cycling again. There are lots of hoops to jump through before that so I don't see that happening soon unfortunately.

Wins Kona - As much as I think it would be very unlikely for him to win, I actually think it would be bad. People would start questionning him again with doping. It would definitely bring a negative view to the sport.

I was a huge, unapologetic supporter of his for many years. I find myself still automatically making excuses for him in my head. Like, about the $250,000 “contribution” he offered to USADA a few years ago, my head immediately went to, “Well, it was before they started investigating him, so, you know it could be legit…”

I don’t care what he says to Oprah or does at this point. It doesn’t matter to me if he comes clean or doesn’t, or races or doesn’t, or wins Kona or doesn’t. I just don’t care. I’ve wasted enough energy on him.

I don't care that he was taking drugs everyone else was taking them at that time. Even when he was winning I don't know how people could believe that he was winning and not cheating while everyone else was cheating. I rooted for him like most Americans.

I would like to see him racing tri's just for the drama.

I think he is a horrible person, not for the drug use, not even for denying it. But rather for the people that he attempted to destroy in order to protect himself and his lies.

As far as the general public forgiving him. Sure they will. Look at the NFL Ray Lewis was displayed as some type of hero last week during the playoffs. He covered up a murder that he had some part in and no one seem to care. Covering up a murder is worse than peds.

With all the lawsuits, potential for perjury, etc., I don't see any way he comes clean.  He'll come out and say something really vague like "I did some things I regret"...  I heard a story last night that he's trying to get the lifetime ban lifted & USADA might go along because he could name names in the high levels of some of the other organizations that looked the other way, but  don't get why he'd want to compete again.  So he could be heckled by thousands of spectators?  Have the results of his local 5k questioned and laughed about?
