I didnt deal well with being left behind, but I felt strong and was trying as hard as I could to up pace.
What would you do differently?:

Train hills, get a coach so I am not the last one running, it was killer psycologically

Nothing, except bring tissue for the bike!

Congratulations on competing and finishing.  Where you placed makes no difference, you're still ahead all of those who never even tried in the first place.  If you compete in future events with a lot more racers, you will find triathletes with varying skill levels and it won't be so psychologically demoralizing.  Still my hat is off to you for not giving up.  You are a true Triathlete!
