Comments: First time in open water! I swam 100 yards in the wrong direction! Oops...I have no real form in the water What would you do differently?: Learn how to swim. Look up more often. Follow someone I can keep up with. Transition 1
Comments: I had my suit almost off prio to exiting the water. When I approached my bike I easily pulled my wetsuit off, (I had a vet. tri-guy tell me tp spray olive oil on my ankles shoulders an neck. It helped)and I had my shoes already clipped into the bike, but I could not get my feet into the shoes while they were on the bike, so I had to take them off and put them on my feet then re-clip. What would you do differently?: figure out how to put my shoes on while the bike is moving, and take my wetsuit off while putting my helemt on. Bike
Comments: I felt good here. I may have lost a bit on the end of the bike because I was worried about preserving strength for the run. What would you do differently?: Taken less off my pace toward the end Transition 2
Comments: I did not have quick ties, but I had laced my shoes loose enough to get into,but tight enough to hold my foot for the run. (I know your feet swell while running) What would you do differently?: Not sure. Run
Comments: My calves hurt a lot on the way out., but I came into the finish strong. I was passed by two runners on the way out, but then passed three runners on the finish. I need to work on my intervals. I was severly out of breath to start out, but found a pace to settle into. What would you do differently?: Find a way tp hurt less form the end of the bike to the start of the run Post race

No routine yet. This was my first one. I had four hours of sleep. I woke up put a cup of coffee in the car and headed to the race. While driving the 1 hour 15 minutes to get there, I had a zone bar, and 20 oz of water.
