Ghostbusters I and II are my all time favorites. I can watch them at anytime and they never get old. I also have a particular liking for Independance day for some odd reason. (I really wish they would make a sequal - you know, what is the world like 20 years later).

Lord of the rings trilogy I will sit down and watch as a marathon at least once a year - it always blows my mind.

The Gods must be crazy 1 & 2 are great and lets not forget the original Crocodile Dundee

"What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh?"

That was a freaky movie!  Good, but freaky!

I saw the Lincoln movie this past weekend. Couldn't help but think how much time I could have saved if only they had movies like this back in the day instead of having to read all those books....

That was the second movie I saw more than once in the theater.  The first being Star Wars.

I would also put Shawshank at the top of my list. If you have not read the book you should, it is actually a short story which is why the adaptation is so good, didn't have to cut a bunch out.

I want to amend my list to add "2001: A Space Odyssey".

That's a movie that has really stayed with me through the years. It's also why I don't trust computers, especially the ones that sing.

Into the Wild.

It brings me to tears every time. Pearl Jam covers the whole soundtrack which is pretty awesome as well.

Technically, it's just Eddie Vedder.

Good Will Huntin, The Shawshank Redemption, Mystic River, Training Day, Bloodsport
