Run
Comments: happy with first run - possibly slightly faster than I planned but felt comfortable Transition 1
Comments: struggled to get clipped in for some reason put shoes on in transition and ran to mount line What would you do differently?: use runner for the whole race to cut time in transition Bike
Comments: pushed hard throughout, drafted well where possible. Lost time on hills. As usual the bike is my weakest leg by quite a bit What would you do differently?: More speed work if I was concentrating on these shorter events Transition 2
Comments: slightly slow getting shoes on - maybe due to gloves and lock lace system What would you do differently?: no change of shoes, use different lock lace system Run
Comments: took slightly longer to get comfortable in run but felt stronger as the race wnet on - didn't get passed at all on run and made up a lot of places What would you do differently?: nothing Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of speed training Event comments: good race, slight delay in registration and at start line but nothing to worry about. Great course - fast in some sections, challenging in others. Good after race refreshments - tea, coffee, soup and sandwiches Last updated: 2013-02-12 12:00 AM
