If you are ever in Orlando, I highly recommend doing this.  I took the family down to Disney for a week and had access to a car so I drove over from our resort.  I joined around 10 or so others for the 6:30 swim across the lake and back.  I enjoyed the swim but it was meeting the people and the overall experience that did it for me.  If I lived down there I would be a regular.  It takes a special person to open his home (literally) to everyone who wants to swim.  Plus it was the morning of my 40th birthday.  My thanks go out to the host and the people I met.

Cool!
I live 60 miles from there and haven't been there yet but its on the local bucket list of things to do.  My son (13) wants to swim it too so it looks like we'll be doing it this spring.

Agree I was a regular up until December and now that my half marathon is over I should be a regular again. Really looking forward to getting back in that lake!

It's a great swim and a lot of fun - especially in the summer when there are tons of people there.

I lived and trained for triathlons about 30 mins from Lucky's for a year. . . . . and found out about it a month after I moved away Yell

Cant wait to move back to be a part of this.

Lucky's swim is awesome.  Loads of fun.  And Lucky is a great guy (and one fast dude).  Hanging on to him is a feat.

Agreed.  Great place and it's always fun to find your name on the wall after you've signed it.  When FL 70.3 was at Disney I would have my guys go there the day before.

Now anyone that travels to Orlando, this is their Swim workout.  Great stuff!!
