My wife does not want flowers, jewelry, cars, or fancy dinners.  All of our income goes to racing and travel (and our kids, of course).

So with that huge set up, I am ordering a Trek Speed Concept 9 series Project One for her.  She would like a little saying where people normally put their names on the top tube.  You can use about 30 characters.  She is doing her first IM this fall.

What do you (BT friends) think her bike should say?

She loves Disney, Princesses, Pink, and her kids.

Shut up legs! is always a good option

Also I'd look into getting a custom engraved stem cap, www.purelycustom.com does an awesome job. The stem cap I got my wife's tri bike reads; "I'm not a trophy wife, I'm a podium girl..."

...and mine reads: "All Ahead Flank!" (maritime helm order for maximum engine speed)

I am just browsing some quotes from Disney (a quick web search brought me to some page) and I like this from Mulan:

"Let's go kick some hunny buns! -Mushu"

Should fit in the 30 character range if you don't include the credit.  I think that would be really cute for a bike.

Hold on when there is nothing in you. One of the lines in Ruyard Kiplings poem "If" Not disney related but a bit inspiring.

Is the bike a surprise?  Will she have input into the saying you have applied to the bike (you suprise her with the bike, then the order is placed with whatever verbiage she wants) or are you looking for input to decide something for her?

Not trying to be Debbie Downer but if you pick it for her and it's not exactly thrilling to her, she'll have to look at it each and every time she rides..

Just saying...

As for a quote:  The time to work is now

I agree with TriMike. Once she has the bike you can decide together as a family what quote to choose. You may be surprised at what she REALLY would like it to say!! What a great gift btw!
