Subject: Favorite DFW Parking location?

I am flying out of DFW on Friday for a race.  I haven't flown out of DFW in probably 8 years. :D  Can anyone recommend a good "off airport" parking location?  Or is it not worth it should I just park on airport?

I'd prefer to stay on the Abilene side of DFW as well....

Ideas?  Suggestions?  I'm open to them!

I've just always used the out-back parking and it's worked well.  Shuttles run all the time and they're not bad at all.  Or, I find someone to drop me off.  Someone I trust to pick me up ;o).

We have had good experiences with The Parking Spot.  Not sure if the pricing is competitive...we get a pretty decent discount since my hubby is an airline employee.    http://www.theparkingspot.com/locations/locations.aspx?ID=1

I've haven't had any trouble using the airport parking - usually the Remote lots.  They have two Remote lots (N and S) right beside the two entrances.  A quick and free shuttle ride and you're on your way.  It's $8 a day.  If you need something that's covered you can choose the Express lots that are right inside the entrances.  This is $13/day and also give you free shuttles to the terminals.  Coming in on Friday you shouldn't have any issues finding parking in any lot of your choice.

The airport parking is convenient enough for me that I haven't used any other options.

Hmmm....I used to use The Parking Spot last time I was here and I remember them being cheaper but now they are not.  There is a 20% off coupon that makes it almost the same price, but they charge tax and I don't think the airport does?

Fascinating...I was worried that coming in on a Friday the lots might all be full but maybe not.  I could always check them in the morning before I leave and see...

I fly out of there all the time and use the uncovered Express North lot. Drive in through the gates and follow the signs. I find the price is reasonable, gets you to the terminal quickly and good service.

Be aware that there is a ton of road construction on the north side of the airport right now. If you are going anywhere near the north side I would check the website (http://www.dfwairport.com/redefine/roads/index.php) and give yourself some extra time.
