Welcome to the world of tri's! I spent some quality time in Italy last summer and loved my time there! Best wishes with your tri training.

Thanks to everyone has answered to me (oh my god, if my english teacher could see me writing....).

@ Nette: I can suggest to go to Venice (if you haven't been there of course), a very lovely place easily to reach from Milan by train (there you can move only by public boat or on foot). I love Milan but in Italy there are a lot of city with a lot of things to see because we had a lot of bombing in 2nd world war....
Try to reserve the visit for Cenacolo of Leonardo, it needs about 2 months.....You can't leave Milan without going.....

Welcome to BT, and congrats on your marathon training. This site will be a great aide to you as you plan and record your training. I have never been to Italy, but would love to visit there some day, maybe even do a race there.
