I feel like this last month was a solid month for me. I missed or switched around a few workouts but overall I am fairly happy I think 47 hours or so of training.

IMCDA better not kick my butt too much although I know it will do just that. I am finally starting to see the low intensity high volume pay off in terms of my HR being more controllable yet maintaining my speed.

I really need to get back to strength workouts as well. Just can't find the time to do those workouts before the evening since I reserve that for family time.

Wow, is it time for one of these again?  Finally getting back into it and thankfully no more taper periods for a few months now that Feb is over!  Shoulder is healing up again and just this week I'm now able to start getting back in the pool regularly.  Shooting to really up the bike this month as well as get at least 35-40k in the pool now.

A terrible month for me.  Foot issues cause me to skip most all running for half the month, and my regular pool closed so I can't get to a pool except on weekends now.  The bike time is ALL trainer time, though... so that's pretty good, I guess. Still wish it was more.

Run 25.6 miles- OK for 2 and a half weeks comming off a 6 week injury layoff

I've been focused on finally running a solid Marathon, so Swim/Bike have been on the back-burner most of the winter.

Feb 2013 Totals:

R: 142.71 miles @ 24:01:58

Wow, no wonder I was 25 pounds heavier last year than now.

Wow, many of y'all are really cranking out the volume! Now I can see a glimpse of what training for an IM looks like.

February was definitely the most volume I've done so far, but it pales in comparison. I only had three rest days, but normally I can only squeeze in a 30 - 45minute workout during the week and not too much more on the weekend.

I've been trying to improve my biking and swimming, so running has taken backseat.  However, some of my rides were at a more social pace.

Swim = 4:48, 13,500 yds

Bike = 10:33, 130 miles

Run =  2:51, 17 miles
