Is there anything that you guys think I should add to help with health and fitness, also recovery? Here is my list of what I'm taking now. Adam superior men's multivitamin, fish flax borage omega 3-6-9 1200mg, glucosamine 2000 mg, 100% natural whey protein, L-gultamine powder. If there are some secrets that you guys might have would like some suggestions.

I was thinking the same thing.  I take a calcium/magnesium cobo, a multivitamin and glucosamine.

There are none.

I take two things daily.  One I will continue to take, a daily multivitamin, and the other I still take because I'm finishing off a bottle left over from the days of lifting, L-Arginine.

Eat a proper diet, get proper rest, and train well... that's all you need - THAT is the secret.

For recovery, I'm sold on quickly digested protein shakes.

During training I like BCAAs and creatine. I like the gels for fuel.

Daily I do a grocery store multivitamin, and extra vitamin D in the winter months.

I am now testing doses of HMB, but its too early for me to report on that.

Athlete Octane swig in the morning.  Nothing else.

I used to take about 12 Hammer Endurance pills a day and then probably pooped them all out.

Then I switched to another brand and was down to 5 pills a day.  I probably pooped all them out too.

With any of them, I don't notice any difference in  my training or recovery.  About the only thing I notice taking the Athlete Octane is that I don't get sick anymore.  That, in itself, might be purely coincidence as well.

Vitamins are RARELY beneficial on a performance or overall health stand point according to most research. Especially for males eating an American diet. I get vitamins from whole foods. Most of the vitamins taken from a supplement are excreted into the porcelain drain.

I take a multivitamin is it. I wish I liked more foods so I could eat all the nutrients I need but I am pretty bad eater and don't care for most vegetables which sucks.

Just like clif bars are too chewy and gels are disgustingly chalk like at first, the more you eat them the more you like them. I think the same applies to veggies if you don't like them, that you can learn to do so

I take a daily multivitamin with iron, mainly because I have trouble getting whole grains consistently here and don't eat much meat, so my daily diet is probably a bit low in B vitamins and iron.  Also a calcium supplement as I'm lactose intolerant. I can handle yogurt but have trouble finding it without a lot of added sugar here. Tried a glucosamine supplement for a few months when my elbow was injured but it upset my stomach; at any rate it didn't seem to have any noticable benefit and I have no pain anymore, so I stopped. If I lived in the US and could have a good source of meat/fish and whole grains, I probably wouldn't bother with the multivitamin, just the calcium.

Mega doses of B12.  It's the only thing that helps my chemo damage lower intestines function nominally.

One multivitamin and chocolate calcium chewable because I don't eat well enough to get everything I need from food. I remember about 3x a week to take them.

Have you tried B12 shots? I have B12 malabsorption issues due to medication so I give myself a shot every 2 weeks. It has made an amazing amount of difference, even from the oral mega doses. It does require a prescription from the doc but it's pretty easy to do if you don't mind needles.
