Fights Georges St Pierre (GSP) tomorrow night in Montreal for UFC 158. He's obviously a martial artist first then a triathlete, but in the build up to this fight he gave triathlons some good publicity. He might not be the best role model but it's still pretty cool he's representing the sport.

Still though... WAR GSP

Here's a wonderful quote

"I do triathlons. I've done f------ 112-mile bike rides and 26-mile runs all in the same event. You can do it high, it feels great loaded.

Q: Wait, you compete in triathlons when you're high?

ND: Hey, you know, it's not going to be a problem. If I was going to go and try to win first place and become the most competitive triathlete in the world then, maybe I wouldn't go out and try to compete high. But if you're just going on a big, long relaxing workout event day then yeah, do a triathlon as completely loaded as you can get because you're only going to be able to get high probably -- you get out of the car and next thing you know go up and transition. Everything is going to take an hour to set up your transition and you can get high during that time. So you can get high and then for about an hour set up your transition and then go do a triathlon and you're still going to be loaded. It's going to go about a couple hours into the event, I guess. But why not do a triathlon high? "

Nick's gonna be put on his back and wrestle-humped for 5 rounds.

I hope he can find a sub while he's down there.  I'm sick of GSP.

Wow.  He can alienate fans in 2 sports then.  GSP is fired up about this fight--I wouldn't want to be Nick Diaz tomorrow night.

Big GSP fan. I like his humility. Josh Koschek talked smack during the Ultimate Fighter and got a broken orbital socket for his troubles. GSP is a great fighter. Hope he finishes Diaz.

I see a lot of results and search hits for him doing Vineman 70.3 (once, under 5 hours). Which 104.6 did he do?

If he did 104.6 that must mean he was seriously stoned!

I would not call Nick Diaz a fellow Anything.  I look forward to GSP sweeping the floor with him tonight.  He is a black eye to anything that he puts his name to.  In fact, I would love to see what his time actually was.

Here is the Juxtaposition:

BJ Penn is doing Lavaman in 2 weeks.  He is doing it to raise money for charity.

Would love to see the azzclown Diaz win, but GSP is going to dominate him.  Can't stand either, always was a Hughes/Penn fan.  I can't believe Penn is doing Lavaman as his cardio/conditioning always seemed to be his weak point.

GSP couldn't submit Dan Hardy.  He's definitely not going to finish Diaz.

It looks like he may have done Vineman in 2007 with a time of 11:35.

Strictly from a triathlon view I prefer Nick Diaz's history in triathlon over B J Penn's charity event. But since you dislike Nick so much here's a video of him crashing on the bike during the 2009 XTerra World Championships.

Oh and feel free to watch the rest of the videos if you need more reasons to dislike Diaz.
