I am looking at getting a new saddle. I am struggling with some numbness and discomfort on the bike. I have heard that the ISM saddles are the best. What are your thoughts... which model is best? I would be using this saddle on my TT bike and would be typically riding distances of 2hrs+ mostly in aero position.

Bought a new tri bike at the beginning of the year. I started with the stock saddle then tried a Cobb V-flow Max and Bontranger Hilo and would be numb within 30 minutes. Yesterday I put on an Adamo Time Trial and today had my first ride on this bike with no numbness.

MattCan---I love my Adamo Breakaway on my Zipp 2001 TT.  I like to pull hard on the aero bars sometimes and I can sit way out on the nose of the Breakaway and get really low and fast. The Adamo Breakaway is the only saddle I will use.

In the ISM line the regular road saddle seems to be on a lot of TT bikes but the breakway/prologue models are starting to be used a lot.  I have a prologue (more padding than the breakaway) and I'm still in the trial phase.  They say it takes like 200 miles to break your sit bones in and you need to do smaller rides to avoid lots of sit bone pain.  If the Adamo line doesn't work the other options are the Selle SMP line which gets good reviews also.  Adamo just came out with a new TT saddle called the attack but it is $200 and is very narrow at around 110mm.  Looks likes a Breakaway only more narrow.  Not many reviews out on it yet.

Adamo Race is the best saddle I have ever tried. No numbness issues at all!

Adamo Prologue user here. Just got it about a month ago and question why I didn't do it sooner! Took a few rides to get used to but after that, it's been good.

Currently training for IMTX and putting about 9-10 hours on the bike a week....no issues.

I'm using an ISM Prologue and am kicking myself for not jumping on this boat sooner. It's FANTASTIC.  Many report having to adjust to the pressure on your "sit" bones, but I didn't have much (any?) of that at all. The first 3 or 4 miles of my first ride maybe, but it's been bliss ever since.

I have a typhoon and a prologue and have been happy with them both. You can demo one at tri sports and they will give you a discount if you buy one. I've heard good things about koobi saddles too...

When I first used the prologue it didn't feel all that great.  Watched the youtube fit videos, tweaked the adjustment, etc.  Took about a total of 20 hours in the saddle to get use to it, now I won't ride anything else.

I'm trying to decide between these 2 models, any insights on the differences, advantages/disadvantages?
