I've been on BT exactly 6 years and 1 week, and I can't measure or express the effect it and its members (truly among the finest people in the world) have had on my life. It's the example, spirit, and community of generosity I found here that gave me the inspiration and knowledge to keep passing it on, here on BT and wherever I am.

Less than 4 years ago when I moved back to Indonesia, we had ONE triathlon in this country (1 distance). Now we have TEN triathlons (and rapidly growing) from sprint to iron distance, one duathlon, and multi and endurance sport has just exploded.

We just had an ITU Cup race here as well (11 triathlons then I guess!), and it made the front page of our biggest daily in one of the world's biggest cities:

Best of all:

Bali Triathlon Club* getting podium at the AG Standard Distance & AG Junior Sprint @ ITU Asian Cup, Palembang Andy Wibowo Bangun Putra Agung

*(which I and the director of the Bali Triathlon--that first tri-- founded)

I am so, so, so, so proud of our boys.
I am so, so, so, so grateful for BT, whose ultimate impact on this sport, and people's lives, really can't be measured.

Indonesia doesn't have an Ironlady yet, but we are working on it and that will be in large part due to BT too!

I'm working on it baby girl - it's this week's job....
