Were your competitor all busy trying to catch grasshoppers?

Man, you're a rocket! Congrats.

Just wishing I could be under 19:00. This was my third race in a weeks time. I am mentally ready for a rest.

This is one of the few events that Menahga has during the midsummer festival that doesn't encourage drunken behavior.

Running a 19 flat 5k and participating in drunken behavior would both have the same result for me: I'd puke!

Excellent race, congratulations!

And, as a Finn, I know who St. Urho is! But why is the race in July and not March?

Too cold, the sauna is more inviting.

I don't suppose you're familiar with St Urho's Brew (beer)? The can has got the big guy on the front and the 'Ode to St Urho' on the back (1975).

Was it a commerative type deal for a celebration?

Anoka used to have Schells do a Halloween commerative can from about that same era.
