8 times! Wow...I will go right as I'm getting in the water...have never felt the urge during any swims so I can't help you there...maybe don't drink so much in the 60 minutes leading up to your swim??

I pee'd 9 times in one of my Ironman swims.
I counted, I mean why not?

I may or may not have a twitchy bladder.

mikec123 - 2013-04-08 9:14 AM I find it helpful to practice swimming motions during normal urination situations, you know, stand at the urinal and flail my arms around in a freestyle sort of motion, the wall even tends to encourage high elbows and you certainly don't want to cross your midline during the pull.  I also kind of hop my feet back and forth in a flutter kick like motion.  If you can do that in a public restroom you should have no problem peeing in your wetsuit.

Just make sure you include your shoulder and hip rotation. Keep that core tight and the guy next to you... oh well.

I think it is an innate ability that not everyone is blessed with.  That being said, I was not blessed and have not been able to pee in my wetsuit (or on the bike for that matter), and believe me, I've tried both.

Proper penis position helps.  Make sure the hose is as unencumbered as possible when putting on the suit.  Other than that, practice

My wife just asked me why I'm laughing out loud!  That provided one hell of a visual!  Thank you for that!
