Warm down:

Drank some water and packed up transition. You had to pay for post race food so I didn't eat any. Placed second overall female, but they were only giving awards for first overalls, so I got an award for first place age group

Event comments:

The having to pay for post-race food was very odd to me, especially considering it was a $70 sprint tri

Great race! Yes, it was a little cold, but warmer than NC!  Also, do you have a link where the final results were posted?  I too finished 2d AG, but they did offer huge plates of spaghetti and lasagna for free post-race. You just had to walk around the inflatable shark and inside to get it.  I got a few bananas and a powerbar since I wasn't ready for lunch.Laughing Hope to be able to run it again next year...I'll get up front in the swim so I don't have to swim around in the lap lanes!
