Subject: problems with speedfil A2
Hi there!

Been trying to figure out how to best mount my speedfil A2 on my Cervelo P2 and I can't get it right. The straw flopping around seems awkward and I can't figure out if I need to cut more off or velcro/attach it out of the way. Also, liquid seemed to be leaking out of the straw insertion to the bottle. Anyone have suggestions and/or pictures of your mount system?? I have a XLab torpedo mount and cage that I use for the mount with it. Its getting frustrating!
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I am going through the same thing, and I've noticed a few things.

1) When water is going out the straw area, it is typically because the L-shape attachment (that attaches both straws) isn't on as tight as it should be.This will also help the straw not flop around as much, at least it did for me.

2) I have used a few rubberbands to somewhat hold the straw in one place, or an easy to move place while in aero.

3) Check out Speedfill on Facebook. They have an album with a ton of pictures of mounted A2's in a variety of ways, I think they even have a picture of a P3 or P4 with the A2 mounted.

Thanks for the facebook suggestion...lots of good pictures to refer to!

I think I figured out why I'm having such problems...I didn't realize there was a 90 degree attachment for the straw (was in a bit of a hurry setting it up the first time) so no wonder it was flopping around everywhere....duh..

BUT, I can't find that stinking piece of plastic anywhere!! Must have fallen out of the package when trying to open the darn thing. I don't see an option to buy a replacement on line.

if I don't find it looks like I'm using my old profile design aero drink for this weekends race...meh.

If you need a replacement, check the plumbing section of Home Depot.  It's just a simple 90-degree elbow for plastic tubing.... you should be able to get something there pretty cheap.  Just wash it, and install it.

Take a piece of the tubing and measure the inside diameter, or just take it with you, to ensure that you get the correct sized elbow.
