Subject: 910xt question
I just bought a 910xt.  Did anyone else have problems setting up the Ant Agent software?  It took me forever and when it finally installed, there was a failure in capturing the data from my run.  Does it have a hard supporting Windows 7?  Kinda bummed after spending $400 on a watch.

I use a Mac and had trouble. finding the software.  The CD that comes with it did not work, but after finding and a simple instal I have had no trouble.  I would suggest going to garmins website and make sure your installing the current version

I've done it several times after changing computers.  Once it was a nightmare and nothing seemed to work.  Eventually, I fumbled my way through.

The other time, it just did what it was supposed to.  I do not know why one attempt was easy and the other hard.

I had to send mine back.  It would not connect to the ANT+ agent on my PC.  I have a Garmin Swim and a FR610 as well and those connect just fine on both Windows 7 and Windows 8 machines.  For some reason the 910xt just wouldn't connect. I also couldn't get it to connect to an ANT+ HR monitor that connected to my Forerunner and my Edge 800 so I'm fairly certain it was a hardware issue.  It sounds like you're getting a connection, it's just failing to upload.  You may want to try a reset by holding the power + enter buttons down until it shuts off. It could take up to 20-30 seconds or more. Just be patient.

Thanks I don't think it is the watch.  The watch is working fine with my HR monitor but will not finish loading the ANT agent software.  Just weird!  I am off to call the Support desk.

Occasionally I have had a problem. I know that downloading firmware upgrades has been easier using Google Chrome than IE.

  It is crazy because I am using Chrome but it still won't work.  As a check, I just downloaded the the software on my work laptop and it installed fine.
