I can't seem to figure out how to get air from my Park Tool pump through this thing into my aerojacket-covered wheel.

The 'crack pipe' threads into the schrader port of the dbl-headed pump I have, but then regardless of what position the lever in back is, all the air escapes out the Presta hole. The adapter doesn't fit into the presta hole at all.

I get the sense that even though the Silca adapter is threaded into the schrader hole, there's no pin inside to depress the center of the schrader valve to let air in. Or am I missing something?

The power of google...

Newer model pumps seem to have one head that can adapt to everything instead of trying to close off one end and open the other.

Unfortunately I saw that link but it didn't help at all. I may have to dismantle my Park tool pump head completely.

Weirdly, my Blackburn pump has the exact same problem.
