Comments:

Started out very fast in the front. Fell off as stamina did. Ended up mixing in breaststroke with freestyle because my heartbeat was out of control.
What would you do differently?:

It was very obvious to me that having to take the past two weeks off due to my bulging disk flaring up affected my time here. Not much I could have done about that though. I am very happy with my time, I was shooting for under 45 minutes.

For my first triathlon I thought it went very well. We had a long run on gravel from the lake to the transition area. Good thing my feet were completely numb. Was dry heaving while running to transition, pushed myself pretty hard on the swim.
What would you do differently?:

Not much, maybe bring cheap flip flops down to the water to help with the gravel.

I definitely pushed too hard on the bike trying to make up for the swim time... I also drank too much and should've eaten something solid to give me more calories in transition

Thought I had a great transition here, I however didn't take an extra swig of water and as I left transition the table had run out. Had to begin the run with no water.

I definitely struggled on the run, my heart rate was running at 180 for too long and my stomach was too full of water from the run yet my mouth was constantly dry. I had to walk a lot between running to try to get my heart rate down.
What would you do differently?:

When I run during training, no more listening to music. It was very hard to get pumped for the run without my jams.

Warm down:

fell-down, well not immediately. I walked over to my parents then fell down into a chair. The ground was too prickly to fall down on
