Swim
Comments: I have a separated shoulder and the wetsuit didn't help with that. Had some difficulty with my stroke mechanics, but heck I survived it. What would you do differently?: Going to get some larger goggles for OWS for sighting. Transition 1
Comments: Again, no time but this was a 2 transition area race, so we had to stuff our wetsuit, goggles and swim caps into a marked bag that was picked up by volunteers and transported to T2. I thought T1 went well. What would you do differently?: Nada Bike
Comments: Got lucky with light winds. The day before they were out of the SE at 20 - 30 mph. Transition 2
Comments: I quickly found my bag in T2, racked the bike, put on shoes, belt and cap. 1:35 not too bad. Run
Post race
Warm down: Beer garden What limited your ability to perform faster: Separated my shoulder about 10 days earlier, so that limited my training over the last few days leading up to the tri. Not getting injured would be good!!! Event comments: Jack and Adams (High Five Events) have been putting on events for years and have it down pat. My hat is off to them. I'll definitely be back to support a local race org. Last updated: 2013-04-11 12:00 AM

Nothing special. Bagel with peanut butter at 5:30 AM. Took sportlegs and ate a clif bar an hour before race start. A sports gel 15 minutes before race start. My wave started at 9:04 AM
Just some light stretching. Mostly from putting on the wetsuit.
