He is not a horror fan and was amazed. It's now among his all time fave movies. Then there's the Rob Zombie version....but Rob Zombie movies are a WHOLE different thread....... |

But the logical side of my brain just though there was WAY too much that could go wrong to make that work. Case in point, how did they know exactly where he would jump at the end? And even if they got him to the right spot, not just anyone can fall 100 stories and land in an airbag and be safe. That takes a lot of training... But oh well - My wife's often used line to me? "honey, let it go, it's supposed to be a movie".... However, now that she has been taking acting classed and getting into the biz, she pics out discontinuities and flaws faster than me... She see's the, "she had bangs in that shot and when they go back to her after the cut away, her hair is behind her ear" stuff (I guess there is supposed to be a person that their only job is to pick up that stuff from take to take. |

Based entirely on these recommendations, I watched it over the weekend (while trapped under a napping toddler). Not bad at all. Not as good as Field of Dreams but a good baseball movie. And I love John C. Reilly. |
