Good morning BT!  I was on a bit of a hiatus!  Hubby and I had a weekend long playdate in Vegas--lots of fun, good break, but now I am ready to refocus and get back to work!

4:15am:  3 mile run
4:45am:  Insanity Cardio Plyo
5:30am:  30 mins/9 miles on the KK

Bit of a hodgepodge workout!  Gearing up for a great summer bod--no triathlon on the horizon so I need some sort of goal to work toward!

Have a great day!

Playdate sounds fun. I'm stuck in Saigon over a five-day weekend (Reunification Day plus Labor Day) with nothing to do but train my brains out and spend quality time with cat and couch. (We tried to book tickets last month and there was NOTHING out in economy, domestic or elsewhere in Asia.) Might get desperate tomorrow and go work in my classroom a bit.

AM 2000m of swimming including lots of hard 50's, followed by 1:10 of trainer ride featuring the truly evil Jorge 2 X 20 min. @ 90-95% workout. Followed by a big Vietnamese banh mi and smoothie, and a three-hour nap with cat on couch.

Actually I'm training for a swim-run race. Just biking for maintenance, since I'm doing two bike tours in Europe this summer; possibly a local tri (sprint?) but nothing serious after June 1.

Good Morning

Nice to see you survived Vegas Kim, Slack easy week here for me the Pool is close for a week for annual maintenance and not being able to run right now means that the bike is it for the week.

May hit the Gym  for some Core Conditioning though, but most likely it will be an easy layed back rest week just taking walks and doing the odd spin on the trainer.

Walk today for sure in the rain

Have a great Day all

Good morning everyone. Although it's already starting to get late here. Did a quick 1,8k swim in the morning (warmup+4*400m racepace), and planning a longer set at the gym in the evening. Really impressed with the early sessions some of you guys post here. I'm happy if I get one hour done before school/work. Nice

I went out for an easy run this morning.. I wanted to 8 ish, but it started to rain, so I cut it to a 6 miler.
On the way back, through a weird confluence of rain, loose gravel and an attempted hop onto a curb caused me to hit the deck. A nice scraped knee later and I was high tailing it home..

Gmorn all! 530am-some daylight already-loving spring swims

6x50 wu

3x400 threshold pace

1x700 z2

c to the duck-dives!

threshold were demanding - but then the 700 seemed really easy - ha!

Recovery day (ran the James Joyce/National Masters Championship 10k yesterday - PR for me by about 4 minutes, but not even in the same zip code as the podium!!).  Smile

Did 1.55 miles easy in my Newtons - recovery/breaking in my shoes calves.

Then 1,500 yds continuous and not too hard in the pool (trying to keep my head down and hips up - wow, does that make a difference!).
