Event comments:

this was a race I did with my nephew. He won his age group (9-10) and had a blast. I would recommend any body that wanted to introduce a kid to triathlon to do this. I was able to stay right with him. His mother was afraid of the swim and bike on the rode so it was nice that I was able to stay with him. Some youth triathlons do not allow this. This is not only for kids but anyone that wants to give it a try.

That's really cool that you could race side by side with your nephew.  I may have to check this out with my kids next year.

I would recomend it. He had a blast.

He also caught the bug! He has called me no less then ten times asking about bikes. The last call was to ask if I need any help around the house or work (he is starting a bike fund)
