Subject: Albany (airport area) rides/routes? Memorial Day Wkd
I'll be in Albany F/Sa/Su of Memorial Day weekend, and am looking for good routes to ride. Its peak weekend for my HIM training, and I'm in need of a good 60-70 miles one of those days. Can be one route, loops, etc. Route finder here wasn't much help. Anyone local who can help out? Thanks!!

Are you going to have access to a vehicle?

There is the Saratoga National Battlefield which is a beautiful ride, one way traffic (and very little at that), challenging loop.  The loop is about 10.5 miles but you can just do as much as you want.  Lots of us do ALL of our training there because of how safe it is.

Depending on which day you go....you'll probably see some of us there.

Here is the data from Sundays ride.  Will show you some elevation, course, etc.

oh cool - I am going to be there the following weekend for a conference and was looking on mapmyride etc so glad to have the local input - maybe I will just do several loops on there!

I am actually going to be staying in Troy - is this where you would still go?  looks like it is about 25 miles away....
