Me! My very first - super sprint. OK so it's a baby step but heck I'm a bit nervous, excited and part of me is like 'you are doin' what?" HA!

Gonna be hot here... 90's so that water will feel great!

My second . Hudson Valley Tri; .3mi/18mi/3mi

fenway - 2006-07-12 10:33 PM NYC Tri, as well.. hoping for a low fecal count in the Hudson

The swim is also in the Hudson about 80 miles north of NYC, so I'm more worried about PCB's than fecal matter.

yay Ohio tri's! You're going to rock I sure hope the lake is warmer now than it is in September...that was a freakin' COLD swim, I felt like a spandex ice cube. I'm a bit concerned because it will be so hot, hopefully those of us racing in central OH won't roast. *note to self: Increase salt intake*

Lake water is running around 71-72 degrees right now.  I've been in it swimming a couple of times and it is just fine.  In fact after getting used to it for a few minutes, the water feels really good.  I'll probably wish I could jump back to cool off during the run.  I was down there watching the tri at Presque Isle last year and I remember everyone looking really cold.  Wonder what the temps were then?

Good luck on Sunday!  There are a couple other BT'ers going to be there with you.

How cool!  I know there's no Ironman this weekend but between the Lifetime tri, all the first timers and first OLY's and halfs this is a pretty exciting weekend.

Good luck to everyone, especially first timers!  Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Only the half irons have been in the 90's. Oly and Sprint distance races have been "I can't feel my feet" cold.

Triathlon of Compassion (sprint).

This should have been my third race of the year, but due to a car accident a week before what was supposed to be my second race, this is now going to be my second race this year.

Finishing it will be a very sweet victory
