Comments:

Went out too easy and felt like I had too much in the tank at the end. Course felt like it may have been a bit long too. Some kind of current going on from the wind I think, a bit choppy.
Transition 1

decent transition, good flying mount. Putting my jacket on cost me some time.

Comments:

Went out a bit too hard on the first hills. Had my jacket on because I was cold, I hate riding in the cold and my feet were frigid. Had some problem with my toe, and in the ride took my shoe off checked it and put it back on. Wasted WAY too much time there for no good reason. Should have just sucked it up. Still a little shaky on my disc cover and HED3 front, need to practice. Headwind on the last few miles, the downhill portion, was a real split killer. Need to work on getting my cadence up on the tri bike, a flatter course should help this.
Transition 2
  • 01m
Comments:

good transition. had to run around the back side and go through. put on socks and took off jacket which took time.
Run
  • 44m 13s
  • 6.21 miles

Comments:

Happy with my run. PR on a hilly course and felt good. Legs suffered a bit from the lower cadence I used on the bike. My lungs/heart felt good and my legs were the limiter on this one. Was hurting pretty bad at miles 4-5, but held it together for a solid effort.

Event comments:

the announcer was very long winded and it was annoying. awards took about 3 times as long as they should have.

Dave great job a very solid race. You had a very good swim and a great run. If you didn't have those issues on the bike you would have done even better and to be honest you actually did very well on the bike. Congrats again on a great race.
