Subject: RE: IMFL- Onsite Registration Question This is what has happened in the past: The day before the race current year athletes can sign up. The day after the race volunteers line up about 8 am to sign up The day after the race anyone local can line up AFTER the volunteers. What ever is left goes online. After that there are foundation slots which cost twice as much. IMFL mostly sells out in less than an hour online, but some years it stays open for hours or days. I remember a few years ago it lasted 3 days online. I don't know how long the foundation slots last, but they might not be a bad deal. The cost is about $750 extra, and that isn't that much more than driving down and staying in a hotel. I believe you can write off half of the cost because it goes to charity and some companies match charitable donations. Personally, I would go volunteer. It's great to give back, you will see how the race works, and you might be able to ride or run part of the course. I hope that helps. |
