Subject: Tufo Gluing Tape for Tubulars?
Why can't I find anything about this stuff on here? Please advise. I saw a review that it destroys carbon rims, I have HED3's, is that for real? hard to believe...

The only time I've ever seen a tubular come off was when it was taped. That's n=1 experience of course.

Just glue the tire... it's faster anyways.

I use this guide for tubulars.

Except I leave out the tape part, I just put the glue straight on the rim. Works just fine for me.

I've heard nothing but bad stuff about Tufo tape, maybe it works well with Tufo tires but I've never used them so can't say.
