Subject: RE: Parking for Philly Tri I don't know if they actually enforce this or how well, but in the athlete guide it explicitly says NOT to park in the grass or you will be ticketed.
Excerpts:
"Please note that the Fairmount Park Commission and City of Philadelphia have communicated
to us that it is imperative you do not park in front of any portion of the Please Touch Museum
driveways and crosswalks. Parking on grass is prohibited and you will be ticketed."
"Parking for both the expo and the race is on the roads in front of the Please Touch Museum at
Memorial Hall, Fairmount Park."
Remember the early bird gets the good parking space!
