I train out there most of the year, and over the winter this year they drained a good portion of the lake and had some sort of tractor that pulled up lots of the vegetation. Its been great to swim in since then. I love how we get Jacks Generic out there this year too. |

The water was amazing, but there was a little plant life here and there, nothing like previous years. When I arrived there were maybe 3 other swimmers out there doing the course, but by the time I was done there had to be at least 8 others. Were any of you out there? I was in a blue swim cap with a bright orange safe swimmer. |

Member 341 Austin | Subject: RE: Lake Pflugerville Triathlon Yeah, there are some fast guys out there. I had an amazing bike, but couldn't get going on the run until mile 2. I heard they started the waves after me late since the far buoy decided to take off or something. It did seem to be in a strange location when I swam around it.

| Deep in the Heart of Texas | Subject: RE: Lake Pflugerville Triathlon They got the buoy back in place for me to round in the 40-44 group. Most, if not all, of the 35-39 only did a rectangle swim around the orange buoys. |
