Swim
Comments: The new swim start definitely screwed me. Started too far back, swam over a lot of bodies, and I mean a LOT. Definitely kept my speed back, and that was on purpose. I think I could have done better, but for my first race, I will take it. What would you do differently?: Seed myself in a slightly faster wave Transition 1
Comments: For T1, I'll take it. It wasn't great, but not bad at all really What would you do differently?: try to move a bit quicker is all Bike
Comments: This was GREAT. My work is paying off. I worked hard, really hard. I kept my cadence steady and in the mid-80's to the 90's the entire time. Opened it up real good on Neva road. Nothing to complain about, really Transition 2
Comments: nothing really Run
Comments: This wasn't as good as I wanted. I think my lack of brick training showed up. On the other hand, I did a nice, steady run, and really, that's what I'm hoping to do. What would you do differently?: Brick training and perhaps push it a bit more Post race
Warm down: watered, hydrated, and ate some oranges/pretzels What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of an open water swim and brick training Last updated: 2013-06-17 12:00 AM

The usual tri pre-race routine. Ate egg and toast along with a very small amount of coffee. Ate 1/2 waffle in trans, which was good.
