Navigation was difficult at times because of slower swimmers. Difficult to manuever and had to go around many swimmers and water was rough from traffic.
Transition 1

Comments:

Exhausted once I mounted the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Would have probably paced my self better on the end of the swim.

First 5 miles of the bike were grueling.. had trouble pacing myself and was in pain.
Transition 2
  • 02m 14s
Comments:

Had difficulty getting on my running shorts over my tri shorts.
What would you do differently?:

Will cutt out interior of running short so I don't get hung up with my shoes.

Comments:

Most difficult grueling hottest run ever... had to walk about 7 times due to exhaustion and heat issues..

What limited your ability to perform faster:

HEAT!!!

Event comments:

Just plain too hot with the late start and time of year. Heat took fun out of the event.

Congratulations on a Great Race.. I ran it as well, and about melted from the heat!

Your pace looked really good.  We were within seconds of each other on the bike and swim.

Why bother with shorts over the tri-shorts?  Would save time not having to bother.

You had a great race, especially given the conditions!  Great JOB!
