You could always go watch-less The only time I ever use one is when doing a really specific track workout, when there are multiple groups doing something different (so my coach can't call splits) and when I don't have a group to run with. Even then sometimes I forget. It's done wonders for my ability to "feel" a pace and get extremely in tune with my body.
That's what I do. I run by feel and I can say that it makes the day more enjoyable. Plus I tend to push myself a bit more if I'm going watchless. Well, usually, sometimes I just dont care enough to push myself. |
