Great race! I didn't bring my kids, but this is a great race for families b/c the start/finish line are right near a playground, so plenty to keep the kids entertained!

I had my pancreas removed four months ago, I’m doing some exercise, struggling with the diabetes, and my usual slim frame is putting on weight and I don’t ever seem to feel full up after eating

At 30 to 40 minutes into my run, my foot starts to go numb. If I keep going, the foot goes totally numb.

Athletes with diabetes can exercise and compete at a high level. Exercise can help control blood sugars, particularly in Type 2 diabetics, but it can also worsen them if you are not in good control.
