Anyone in on this one? It used to be Elephantman but I guess things change.

I'm planning on doing this race, too. They announced this weekend that they won't be doing any races at Elephant Butte next year...not sure why, but I was sorry to hear it as I've always enjoyed the weekend and think that the race director does a great job.

Neat... I hadn't seen these line of races. I know last year they pulled the plug on the long course Elephantman due to lack of participation. Also the lake is at like 3% capacity now.

Anyone doing the 505 @ cochiti next month?

I just saw the 505. I may do that one. Conflicting weekends with an Army reunion that i really cant afford to do anyway.

Maybe the lake is more full now for those doing these races?

Well did anyone else not get directed at the turn around? I went over the tracks made the right and a guy from the half noticed my number and yelled at me to turn around. Looks like i was almost 5 miles out on the side road toward the Spaceport.

My saving grace was anger, and i pushed to the point of puking on the run and pr'd my 10k off the bike.
