Any ideas of how many grams of protein you should be getting on a full IM training program?
Seems logical that a higher than regular intake would be required to speed up muscle repair?
Any grams of protein per lb of body weight formulas out there??

i'll have to go back and find my notes from the seminar I took - but it focused on dietary requirements for endurance athletes and I want to say that it was something like 1.6g of protein per kg of body weight a day - minimum

this article had some good information in it - http://www.brianmac.co.uk/articles/scni29a5.htm

Joe Friel suggest .8 to 1g per pound when high volume training. Just eat protein with every meal and you should be good its not to hard. If you have to much you it out.. no big deal.

Here is a good write up. I slam down some protein after a long workout. http://www.infinitnutrition.us/library/The%20Beginner's%20Guide%20t...
