Champion  5615   |  Subject: When your race photo finally makes you go, DAMN!The first shot is from New Year's Eve 04/05. This has to be one of the worst shots of me ever taken, and it makes me realize (now) just how bad I had gotten. I was probably easily in the 325+ range at that time. The 2nd shot is from Columbia Triathlon in May. The 3rd shot is a finishing chute photo from my most recent race, Triangle Triathlon on July 9th. Notice the difference 8 weeks of simply training will do. No "dieting", no weight lifting, just riding and running, lots. The last one is me enjoying some post-race food from Triangle. I can't believe how thin my neck looks in that one. I have to agree with the others, you look extremely happy in the last photo. I was getting depressed early on because I wasn't really losing weight but working out all the time. Then my hubby decided to start taking my body measurements and it was amazing the difference the training had really made. I have lost 2 dress sizes since January when I started training for my first tri that was in April. Keep up the good work and what a great positive reinforcement! |
