I am wondering if I need to stick to the distance/time of a training program or the days that I should train?
I take a master swim class as part of my sprint tri training. The distance that I swim in the two classes I take each week pretty much exceed the weekly total that a triathlon program ask for. So do I still need to swim the extra day that the program says or doing the distance itself will be enough?

Swim until you are confident that you will be able to complete the race distance comfortably and safely on race day. I you wanna get better swim more. Are you doing any OWS.

i don't think many people have a problem with over swim training. i'd keep doing the masters swim classes like you are, im sure it feels great to get out of the water and feel fresh for the bike/run. one day i might know that feeling...

What kind of time difference would one expect in changing from a road bike with aerobars to a tri bike with aerobars over a HIM distance if using the same wheelset?
