Event warmup:

I didn't take advantage of the pre-swim practice, as I should have. However, I did some yoga which helped!
Swim
  • 42h 25m 5s
  • 1500 meters
  • 2h 49m 40s / 100 meters
Comments:

Vast improvement from last year. May not have been too fast, but stayed calm, and did freestyle the whole way.
What would you do differently?:

What not have stayed so far right.
Transition 1
  • 10m 36s
What would you do differently?:

Not have rushed my shoes and helmet so much. Fastened both too tight, and was feeling it on the bike.
Bike
  • 1h 42m 2s
  • 22.5 miles
  • 13.15 mile/hr
Comments:

Was in pain for the bike cause my helmet and shoes were too tight. Went slow on the first loop, but really sped up the second time around.
What would you do differently?:

Taken time to adjust my helmet and shoes.
Transition 2
  • 04m
Comments:

Fastest transition yet.
Run
  • 1h 43m 28s
  • 6.2 miles
  • 16m 44s  min/mile
Comments:

Pulled something, and ended up walking more than I had hoped.
Post race
Warm down:

Took a short walk, and did some stretching

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Poor training

Event comments:

Love this race organizer. They put on a solid race, and their volunteers are soo helpful!

As the fog cleared, the buoy that I first saw earlier in the morning was just the first marker in a very long line of buoys that stretched across the lake like a runway for a 747 jetliner.

I just finished the NYC marathon on Sunday and I think I'm going to venture into triathlons. I am doing an Olympic distance and I want to do a 70.3 next year too. Any advice?
