Pre-race routine:

I had a cliff bar 15 min before i got to the race with some gatorade. Met Jim at his car then went down to transtion to set up. This is our second yr doing this event and also the first race we have done for the second time. last yr was sunny this yr was rainy with wind!

Ran with jim for about 1.5 on race cource.

Waves suck when swimming is not your thing. Just breathing was a struggle btwn strokes and wave hitting u. i was unable to get in any kind of rythem.
What would you do differently?:

Just need to be more comfortable in the water and learn how to just relax

I had a graet time on the bike! I was having lots of fun with this lady that was constitly going back and forth with. That was a nice challange.

Need more streght traing in the off season. and more hill work

Course: Very windy with lots of swells. Really sufferd do to the waves i was just not prepared for that. i have never swam in such water. now i will know what to expect in those conditions.

Course: Dispite the fact it was raining off an on which didnt bother me at all. The course was great comared to last yr. this yr there were lots of rolling hills and tight turns. looking forward to this course next yr.

Course: Nice run around there golf course and cross country course. the start of the run was challanging lots of hills some steep! back half of the run was fast and mostly down hill. very nice run!
