Comments:

First podium finish for me at any level or any distance of running race! Only took me 44 years! This was actually the slowest I've run this race-- two seconds slower than last year and over a minute slower than two years ago, but my best AG and overall ranking. As they... it all depends on who shows up.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe go a little harder, but I always say that. As it was, I had enough kick at the end to pass the next finisher in my AG on the final turn into the parking lot and take third!

The triathletes really inspired me. I watched them in awe as childlike thoughts went through my head like, "I want to do that!" But then reality set in. “Who are you kidding?
